The Nanhi Kali Boston Chapter team up with the Tufts Association of South Asians (TASA) to bring you an evening of exquisite music performances by the Mt. Auburn String Quartet for benefit of Project Nanhi Kali.
Among the most compelling experiences for any music lover is the intimate and magical sound of the string quartet. The deceptively simple combination of two violins, viola and cello has enraptured composers and audiences for centuries. Newcomers and experienced listeners alike are certain to revel in the expressive playing of the Mt. Auburn String Quartet as they present music of unparalleled passion, nuance, and power. Katherine Winterstein and Charles Dimmick (violins), Stephanie Fong (viola) and Rafael Popper-Kaiser (cello), have garnered critical and popular acclaim for their spirited performances and insightful commentaries. In an evening of extraordinary music, the Mt. Auburn String Quartet is sure to take you on an artistic journey that is not to be missed.
All proceeds from the ticket sales go towards sponsoring education for underprivileged girl children through Project Nanhi Kali.
