Nanhi Kali @ Curry Cup 2011
October 12, 2011
A celebration of friendship and the spirit of cricket, Curry Cup is Boston Gymkhana’s signature cricket tournament as part of which it hosts various cricket teams, friends and families, elders, children and coworkers. Now in its fourth year it provides us an opportunity to sit back, relax and enjoy the company of our friends and family. A time to ponder and appreciate the patience of our friends, wives and family, who allow us to play this game that we love so much.
Curry Cup provides the perfect excuse to bring the entire Boston Gymkhana members, our opponents on the field, both current and erstwhile, and their friends and families together and celebrate the camaraderie and the relationships. As much fun the culmination of the Curry Cup, The Family Day is so is the careful planning, coordination, frenzied shopping, long hours spent discussing minute details that brings us all together that much more.
This tournament lasts for two weekends, with the final day of the tournament (October 16th), attracting the most people (approx. 400). Eight teams are to be participating in an extra-competitive Curry Cup this year, with Gymkhana fielding two teams.
Building on the grand success of Curry Cup in 2008, 2009, and 2010. Boston Gymkhana once again welcomes all our friends to be part of this celebration.
