Nanhi Kali has recently launched the first ever donation based film series on their website www.agirlstory.org. A Girl Story is a unique donation-based film that brings to life the experience of many underprivileged girls in India. The story is told through the eyes of Tarla, a young underprivileged girl who simply wants to go to school and receive an education. The websites goal is to raise awareness about the challenges that girls like Tarla face, and to drive donations for Project Nanhi Kali.
AGirlStory.org has been developed by StrawberryFrog. The concept was created and written by StrawberryFrog, and the illustration was done by Little Red Robot., an animation studio in California USA.

Those who visit the “Girl Story” site can watch the animated tale unfold chapter-by-chapter and those who do donate will receive updates on Tarla’s journey.
